What our patients say...

I have been to therapy at three other places.  I was afraid of coming to therapy.  Every little movement hurt.  I thought “what’s going to happen if I have to do what I did a year ago?” I was really nervous about coming. That was silly because Dennis sat with me and talked to me about what’s going on in my life, how my day was going, what was hurting, what I could do and couldn’t do, what happened, and what set me back.  He saw the pain.  He sat and talked to me and said we are going to just start from the beginning and see what we can do to make you better.  He said “give me a chance”.  I did and here we are three weeks later and I’m walking great. I have had almost no pain for several days.  I’m taking less medication.  It was silly for me not to come.  Everyone I speak to say’s it’s just phenomenal.   This is the place to come and get better.

It’s OK to laugh here. The personal interaction means a lot; it keeps people coming back; it keeps you feeling like you’re a part of something, and you’re not just a customer. I would say without question: Go to Atrium Physical Therapy for that personal attention. My mother is 84 years old now and I wouldn’t want her to just go anywhere. Here she feels safe.

This place is friendly – the atmosphere is so neat and the employees are great.  The attention and service sets Atrium apart.  Going to therapy here will not disappoint you.

Having had treatment for knee replacement on my other knee previously at another facility, I can state that the treatment here at Atrium was definitely superior and would recommend it to others without reservation.

The evaluation was thorough, the treatment plan well executed with step by step modification to adapt to strength and pain improvement. Detailed explanations for cause and effect of each movement was available. I now understand the mechanics of my shoulder to continue strengthening and protecting my self.

Both Dennis and Ricky really listened to me and came up with relevant and helpful information and suggestions. They did a great job in pacing the work and building on my strengths. These are knowledgeable and skilled professionals.

I could barely walk because of by back pain. It was bad enough to the point that I depended on a cane to help me walk. It was impossible to bend over and touch my toes. Now in just a just a short period of my time, Atrium Physical Therapy has helped me restore my life. It is important to follow their recommendations as it’s helped improve my mobility. Atrium Physical Therapy should be recommended by every doctor.

As a patient of Atrium, I was not really a believer in this method of healing. But after a very short time I found myself on a path of healing, and feeling better. Knowing the type of person I am, I kind of wear my emotions on my sleeve, and not all days was I the most pleasant to be around. Pain makes me grumpy!! Ricky has a great attitude and does not get rattled. He just sticks to what he believes in and by the end of the visit I was always pleased with the outcome. I would recommend this type of therapy to my friends and family. Thanks!!

The pleasant, encouraging, family atmosphere at Atrium made a huge difference to me. They really care about you. I’ve made a lot of progress with my lower back. I can almost keep up with my 10 year old now. Thanks for everything!!

After my surgery I didn’t know what to expect. But my therapy at Atrium was a pleasant surprise. I felt that I had a lot of attention and guidance and I saw results right away. Now I’m ready to get back to my life as it was before my injury. GO ATRIUM!

I think the personal attention was a big plus. I didn’t feel like a numbered patient going through motions. And a surprise bonus, it was fun.
