Dennis L. Prickett, PT

Dennis is the operator of Atrium Physical Therapy in Las Cruces. He owns Atrium Physical Therapy with his wife, Elaine.

Dennis received his Physical Therapy training at the University of New Mexico. With a previous degree in Education, Dennis combines his training to educate clients in the causes, available treatments, and potential long-term implications of their diagnosis while using the best available treatment techniques to eliminate pain and restore function.

“I believe that one critical component to achieving optimal treatment outcomes is to provide a treatment environment that promotes healing. The atmosphere in our clinic is designed to do just that – it feels more like home, and smiles are contagious.”

Dennis has a broad base of experience which he brings to this office. His experience includes working in Pediatrics, Acute Care, Orthopedic and Neurological Rehabilitation, Long Term Care, and Skilled Nursing Facilities. In addition to operating his private practice for the last 17 years, he has served as department head in Home Health and Skilled Nursing / LTC facility rehab departments.

Dennis has served as speaking faculty for continuing education programs for Physical Therapists on establishing functional maintenance programs. He has a special interest in rapid pain relief/pain management techniques.


Mary Ann Allred, MPT

Mary Ann is originally from NM. She moved to the midwest, attended KU for undergrad and KUMED for her MPT in May of 2001. Mary Ann is a devoted Rock Chalk Jayhawk KU fan. Mary Ann moved back to NM and has called Las Cruces home since 2006. Mary Ann has experience with orthopedic clients and has worked in rehab settings for a number of years. Mary Ann has also worked in pediatrics. Mary Ann joined the Atrium Family in 2015 and has brought with her experience, techniques that have given patients relief from pain. Mary Ann enjoys gaining new knowledge to help our patients.

Amanda Atrium Staff Bios

Born in Hobbs New Mexico, I obtained my Bachelors degree in business administration in 2016 from Colorado Technical University, and I’m currently working on my Masters degree in business administration. I have been married to my lovely wife Alyssa Mackey for 6 years, and we are expecting our first child soon. In my spare time I’m active in my local church, and I enjoy riding motorcycles and playing sports. I’m glad to be part of the Atrium team.


Heather Guzman - Client Service Manager/Biller

Heather has served as the Office Manager at Atrium Physical Therapy for 8 years. Her responsibilities include client scheduling, obtaining prior authorizations, medical billing and collections, and managing all front office operations. Heather has quickly developed an excellent understanding of health insurance coverage and can answer most of your questions about how payment for services will be handled by your insurance carrier. When she does not know the answer, she is able to find out quickly, and will be able to give you a clear picture of your coverage before therapy treatment.


Justina Apodaca - Client Service Representative

Justina was born in Las Cruces NM. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology, and she plans to further her education here in the near future. She loves being outdoors and hiking is one of her favorite things to do, as well as work out. While on these excursions she’s very lucky to share the fun and experiences with her Grandmother, her fiancé, and her dog Bugatti. She enjoys sharing laughs and smiles with our Atrium Family.  Justina says it is always a pleasure and makes for great conversations.


Amanda Ortiz – Clinical Support

Amanda is from a small town - Moriarty, New Mexico. She moved to Las Cruces to attend New Mexico State University where she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Education. Amanda enjoys working at Atrium Physical Therapy because of the family-like atmosphere. She says that “everyone works together to achieve the goal of our patients”. In her spare time Amanda like to run and hang out with her dogs, family, and friends.

Donna Flores – Clinical Support  / Licensed Massage Therapist

Donna Atrium Staff Bios

Donna have lived in Las Cruces for more than 17 years. She works at Atrium Physical Therapy as Clinical Support and Licensed Massage Therapist. Donna received her training in massage at MTTI here in Las Cruces. She has been licensed for over 9 years.  She says thatit is very rewarding to be able to work one on one with people and help them feel better.


Lisa Rodriguez - Clinical Support

Lisa is a native New Mexican born and raised in Las Cruces. She has an older sister and a younger brother all raised by wonderful parents! Lisa is a single parent of two beautiful children who are her all! She has background inworking closely with individuals who have Alzheimer's or some form of Dementia for 15 years. She received certification as a Certified Dementia Practitioner from the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners in May 2014. She says that her goal in working with Atrium as a clinical support staff is to go beyond and assist the PT’s and PTA in providing good care to our clients, and to truly create a home for that “Atrium Family”. Her heart is huge and is shown daily, without fail, in her compassionate and loving interaction with our clients
